Nevada Outdoor Property...

Choose Nevada

Nevada is not only unique, and some even say quirky, but truly it’s a place of extremes.  It’s hard to know where to begin in the long list of features and things to do in Nevada, and that’s perhaps why Nevada real estate offers a wonderful place to live and play.  Nevada outdoor property offers parcels including some outstanding Nevada ranches and farms.

Things to do in Nevada

To get started on what there is to do, let’s step back over a hundred years in time.  There are old towns like Virginia City and others where the old prospectors mined the land for their fortunes in gold and silver.  Visiting these towns give you a sense of what life was like in Nevada’s early days.

If you like time alone to ponder life’s most puzzling questions, take a drive across Nevada on the historic Highway 50 which has been dubbed “The Loneliest Road in America.”  Or for an ultimate thrill, try heli-skiing where you experience a helicopter ride to the peaks of the Ruby Mountains and can ski through over 500 square miles of virgin snow.  And for a more daring adventure, you can take part in the Nevada Passage reality show.  This is a six-day competition featuring 10-person co-ed teams that attempt to conquer six daunting challenges in some formidable terrain.

However, if your taste lends itself to more traditional activities, there’s always golf available on some gorgeous championship courses which are ranked among the best on the nation’s top golfing lists.  There are plenty of activities for both summer and winter activities.  And of course, there’s always gambling and live entertainment in Las Vegas and Reno.

The Nevada Advantage

Not only are the activities of Nevada varied, but the state itself is a dichotomy of extremes geographically.  The southern part of the state is hot and arid and the biggest draw of tourists to the area is the gambling and the fabulous entertainment.  The northern part of the state has more moderate weather, as well as the well-known Lake Tahoe.  This area is drawing more commerce and industry   The state of Nevada offers advantageous tax benefits to workers and to business owners which makes the area attractive for business development.

Ah-h, Home Sweet Home!

And in addition to all that the state has to offer in business development or employment opportunities, entertainment and beauty, Nevada real estate also offers plenty of farm, ranch, resort property and outdoor property on which to build your dream.
